trick

Postby BarbersOnlyMagazine on Mon Feb 11, 2008 1:28 am

There are few techniques barbers have shared with me, but here are the ones that have worked for me for the Andis Outliner.

1. Take the blade off the clipper.
2. unloosen the screws on the large bottom blade without taking them out completely
3. line the shorter(rotating) blade on top of the large blade evenly. Make sure you do not overlap the short blade with the top blade or you will cut your client!
The trick is to make sure that bottom blade is lined up as close as possible with the top blade without overlapping.
4. Also, here is something they don't tell you in barber school.... You have to break those new blades in. Just like a new baseball glove, you gotta use that new adjusted blades as much as possible and that blade will get sharper.

Check for the DVD coming soon.
